Slot Gym Time
There are a million activities on a cruise ship that will keep you active, so just find one that you like and do it. You’ll be really busy working, but if you have an active job on the ship, that’s your gym time right there. In other cases, slot gym time, take classes with your coworkers and make it like it’s part of the job. Your body, your mind, and your spirit will thank you for it. Staying active will help you have the energy to do your job, and it’s also a great way to burn off some work stress.
Never Lose Your Water Bottle

Being out at sea takes a lot out of you. This is especially true if you’re working out on the deck and in the sun, but it’s true for any position because of the long hours on your feet. If you want to stay healthy while you’re away, never lose your water bottle. Carry with you wherever you go, and set goals for yourself. The more water you drink, the better you’ll feel. Dehydration leads to a lot of issues, so this is of utmost importance.
Limit Your Sugar Intake
Sugar is your enemy. It tastes great and you might be addicted to it, but it actually causes cancer and it causes your body a lot of other issues. When you’re on a cruise ship, the temptation to eat a lot of sugar will be high, but just be smart about your intake. Live a little, but focus on veggies and proteins. Your body will feel so much better and you’ll be able to get a lot more work done.
However, there are times to splurge a bit...when you’re in Italy, eat the gelato...life calls for you to break the rules sometimes.
