Most women want to know what they can do to make themselves more attractive to guys, but the difficulty here is that most don’t want to hear it from the guys they know. Women look to glossy magazines and their friends for tips on how to be good looking and drive guys wild rather than asking their male friends or even their partners because their assumption is that those guys are just perverted or odd and that they don’t know what they’re talking about. Meanwhile most guys are quite happy not to tell their female friends what they’re doing wrong because they value their lives…
This is a shame though as most men can tell women a lot about what it takes to impress a guy. We guys are pretty simple you see – most of us have pretty much the same opinions when it comes to what makes women look hot and what doesn’t and mostly these are things that women could do easily if they’d drop their pride.
The good news is that you don’t know me, and that in this impersonal format I am able to tell you all the kinds of things I would never tell my female friends with regards to being sexy. If you want guys to like you, then follow this advice – it’s that simple.
Avoid Big Turn Offs
First of all, before you start thinking about how to make yourself hot you should focus on being not off putting. This is something that you should be able to do fairly easily as long as you maintain the very basics and don’t make any out-there calls.
If you think you may have a hair problem on your upper lip for instance then that’s something you should address right away. Guys do notice these things – so just wax. Likewise if you have crooked or stained teeth then ask your dentist what can be done about it – I know at least one girl who would be really hot were it not for her crooked gnashers. You may not be able to help your complexion, but don’t be afraid to use a little thicker foundation. We guys don’t love powdery foundation but we prefer it to spots.
Other big turn offs include things like gloopy mascara, really long nails or too much glitter. In other words try not to look like you belong at a drag show.
Makeup
When it comes to makeup the objective is to look like a glamour model while at the same time avoiding ‘shotgun makeup’. In other words you don’t want to cake on makeup thick, but you do want to try and look glamorous with it. Outlining your eyes darkly for instance will make you look smoky and sexy, while a bright red lipstick will make you look confident and pouty – but you don’t want to use both at the same time or you’ll look like a clown. Try to choose one feature to make sexy, and play the rest down. Note though that if you don’t look like the women on American sitcoms then your man will often stare longingly at the TV and wonder ‘why the gulf between fantasy and reality’. Your makeup can make a big difference, so try getting lessons or just spending a little more if you want to look sexy.
Clothes
There is a gulf between the clothes that women want to wear and the clothes that men want them to wear – but that doesn’t mean that every guy wants you to dress so skimpily that everything is on show. Rather you should aim to wear things that show off your figure while at the same time making you look fashionable and confident.
In other words then you don’t have to wear a tiny micro skirt to do your food shopping as most guys will assume you’re not all there. At the same time though if you’re wearing a nice flowery dress because it’s pretty you won’t turn heads, and neither will you if you wear baggy jeans because they’re comfortable. Instead wear tight fitting jeans that show off your legs, or a pencil skirt and that way you’ll look stylish while teasing your best assets. Silky shirts and low cut tops are also great at doing this – so think ‘power dressing business woman’. Heels meanwhile are always a win, so if you want to be objectively hot you should learn to love them.
